I am a MIT graduate, and have been a math tutor/teacher for the last 16 years. I have taught or tutored all levels through Calculus BC & College Calculus -High school, middle school and college. I am patient, relaxed and truly enjoy this work. In addition to my engineering degree, I also come from 2 previous generations of world class science/math academics from both sides of my family (My dad was a MIT professor).
Also having been a professional actor during this entire time, being an educator in math/science has turned out to be a most rewarding and satisfying parallel career, especially given my background. I also believe that my acting background has helped me immensely in relating to kids both challenged and gifted in math.

Tohoru taught my daughter precalculus. Although the session was late at night he held her attention and helped her understand difficult problems. He is very knowledgeable and patient. We will be continuing sessions weekly as she likes working with him so well.

We worked on homework for our honors precalculus course. This is an extra-challenging course that goes beyond typical precalculus material and topics; homework is rigorous!
