How to Get into the Seiraimaru Boat
Find and Solve the Boat Wheel Puzzle
Head to ''Seiraimaru'' in Seirai Island, Inazuma and look for a locked Exquisite Chest surrounded by boat wheels. Solve the puzzle by aligning the longer spikes to form a square and open up a path into the ship.

Seiraimaru Ship Walkthrough
How to Unlock the Seiraimaru Doors | |
---|---|
1 | Summon an Electrogranum and enter the ship through the path you just opened up from the boat wheel puzzle. |
2 | Collect the Electroculus you see as you enter the ship. Click here for all Seiraimaru Electroculus locations! |
3 | Follow the Seelie you see through a Thunder Barrier and up the stairway. If your Electrogranum has disappeared, just summon another one by the entrance. |
4 | Open the Treasure Chest and collect the Rust-Worn Key. Click here for all Seiraimaru Key Locations! |
5 | Keep following the Seelie until you encounter a locked door. Use the Rust-Worn Key to unlock it and continue following the Seelie. |
6 | Solve the Boat Wheel Puzzle to unlock the Treasure Chest, then continue following the Seelie through an unlocked door. |
7 | The Seelie will pass through the floor. You need to solve the Floor Tile Puzzle to break the shabby floorboards. Click here for the full Floor Tile Puzzle guide! |
8 | Once the floor breaks, keep following the Seelie and solve another Floor Tile Puzzle. |
9 | A cutscene will play and a hole to the underground cave area will be unlocked. Click here for the cave puzzle solution! |
10 | To continue exploring the ship, find and open the chest hidden in a gap in the floorboard to get the Intact Key. |
11 | Use the Intact Key to unlock the door nearby and continue following the Seelie. |
12 | Solve another Boat Wheel Puzzle to unlock the Luxurious Chest then continue following the Seelie again. |
13 | Climb up the ladder, open the ceiling door, and guide the Seelie to its court. |
14 | Collect the Seelie's chest. You will now have unlocked all Seiraimaru areas, including the underground cave that will lead you to an Electroculus! |

Rust-Worn Key Location
The Rust-Worn Key is inside a chest within a Thunder Barrier on the first floor. Summon an Electrogranum by the entrance of the boat and follow an Electro Seelie into the Thunder Barrier by the staircase to unlock the chest.

Seiramaru Boat Wheel Puzzle Solution
How to Solve the Boat Wheel Puzzle
To enter the Seiraimaru shipwreck, you must first solve the boat wheel puzzle. A note nearby will tell you to make the sword and halberd meet, which is the clue in solving this puzzle.
The image above is the very first boat wheel puzzle you'll encounter. This will open a path and let you enter the Seiraimaru boat.
Turn the Wheel to Align the Spikes
To solve the boat wheel puzzle in Seiraimaru, you have align the stirring wheel's longer spikes point inwards and form a square. Doing this succesfully will unlock the Treasure Chests and ship areas!

Relay Stone Puzzle Walkthrough
How to Activate the Relay Stones | |
---|---|
1 | From the Seiraimaru Boat, enter the cave and glide to the Phase Gate near an Electro Stone device. You'll need to solve the Relay Stone Puzzle to remove a tunnel gate nearby. |
2 | Approach and use the Phase Gate to go to the breakable Electro Stone Pile on the ledge nearby. Use either Pyro or Cryo to efficiently break the pile. |
3 | Breaking the stone pile will reveal a Phase Gate, a Relay Stone, and a Sakura Bough. Pick the Relay Stone up and use the Phase Gate to go back. |
4 | Place the Relay Stone somewhere in the middle of the Discharge and Cumulation Stones. A link should be formed to let Electro pass through. |
5 | Summon an Electrogranum, climb and dash towards the Thunder Barrier on the right side of the cave. |
6 | Collect the Relay Stone from that area and fly back to the main platform. |
7 | Place the Relay Stone so that it connects to the next Stone. |
8 | Go through the Phase Gate again, make sure it points to the direction of the Sakura Bough, and use it to travel. |
9 | Summon an Electrogranum and run to the other Thunder Barrier, the one on the left this time. |
10 | Collect the Relay Stone in that area and go back to the other Electro Stones. Use this final Relay Stone to link the Electro Stone that is further away from the others, complete the puzzle, and remove the tunnel gate. |
11 | Rotate the Phase Gate to the direction of the cave entrance this time, then use it to travel through the now-unlocked cave tunnel. |
12 | Defeat the Ruin Sentinels, then approach the Electro Seelie in the corner. Follow it around until it enter the Phase Gate. |
13 | Use the Phase Gate to go back. You'll see that the Electro Seelie has settled in the Sakura Bough, and you'll be able to interact with it. |
14 | Use the Seelie-Sakura Bough to summon an Electrogranum and a path of Thunder Spheres. |
15 | Use the Thunder Spheres to zap upwards. There will be an Electroculus at the very top of the Thunder Spheres, so keep an eye out! If you miss the Electroculus, you can always go back into the cave and do the whole process again. |
