Keto Hawaiian Sweet Rolls Bread Recipe (1)

I had this crazy idea to attempt to make a Keto Hawaiian Sweet Rolls Bread Recipe. I was confident I could make the bread rolls sweet but I wasn’t sure how I was going to get the Cuban flavor without the pineapple juice that is in the normal recipe for these rolls. I mean, that’s a pretty important ingredient. This is one recipe no one has yet to Ketofy. I had an idea! I’m never sure if these ideas will be a total success or a total fail. I am so happy to report this idea was successful! I basically took the regular Keto Fat Head Dough recipe and tweaked it a bit.

After I concocted a recipe that makes delicious Keto Hawaiian Sweet Rolls Bread, I decided to take it a step further and make some amazing Keto Cuban Sliders with these sweet rolls. Oh, My, Word! I don’t know if it’s just been so long that I have had a really good sandwich, but the sliders were a total hit with everyone (even the non-ketoers)! Stay tuned and I will post that recipe soon too. I grew up calling them Funeral Sandwichesbut that recipe is filled with sugar and things I stay away from now. It’s a great recipe but I just know I can make it sugar-free! Here’s the Keto Cuban Slider Sandwiches recipe we made with these. They turned out AMAZING!

How do these Keto sweet rolls taste?

These rolls won’t have that bread gluten taste but they are the closest thing you will find to those King’s Hawaiian Sweet rolls you know and love. They are not as light as regular bread either but they are not eggy tasting like some Keto bread recipes I’ve tried too. It’s nothing like the light and fluffy Keto Cloud bread recipe. They very much have a bread texture to them and are loaded with flavor!

How do you plan to use these sweet rolls?

This will be one of those rare recipes I will make as a treat on my Keto journey. It’s nice to mix up fun seasonings and textures. I try mostly to eat real food first and foremost. I might make these for special occasions, family gatherings or holidays but I won’t make them often.

Here are a few photos we took while making these sweet dinner rolls:
