  • WARNING!!! I am a trailer dealer, Trailer Depot in Shawnee, OK. Today, I had a customer come in who saw an ad on Craigslist for a trailer I sold months ago. We do not use Craigslist to advertise anything but used RV's...we ONLY use Horse Trailer World for our horse and livestock trailers. Whoever US Horse Trailer is has a scam website set up with no name or phone contact information. The Craigslist ads direct potential customers to THEIR website using MY ADS from Horse Trailer World (HTW also does our website for us). I did a search on Craigslist and they have scammed many ads (all older ads with sold trailers), and put them on Craigslist. I sent them an e-mail daring them to come forward and contact me, but I know they won't.If you are looking on Craigslist in your area, beware of these people. I'm sure they are using ads from dealers across the country to scam potential customers.
